Global Applications Project Management Officer - ICT

The Global Applications Project Management Officer (PMO) is a professional able to support projects and programs on a global level independently and acts as a right hand of program manager / project manager. The activities of the PMO are centralized around resource, work planning & control, budget management, change management and product quality control. Also, a PMO person is able to lead program control services: schedule and assign work, set objectives, provide feedback on performance and motivate. In short, a PMO is in the heart of a project helping the program and project manager to administer and operate within different project management areas and manage people to deliver scheduled and on demand services in time, scope and budget agreed with client. The position also offers an opening to act as a coordinator and subject matter expert for teams developing new solutions as it applies to software and licensing agreements with Microsoft.

For the right candidate, this role offers further development chances into the Haldex Applications Support management team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Report generation following predefined scripts & preparation of custom reports for project needs.

  • Administration of risks and issues.

  • Keeping and developing the PM Toolbox on the Haldex intranet.

  • Project workplan management support; keeping track of plans, budget, quality standards, deliverables and dependencies.

  • Project metrics reporting and close cooperation with finance in project finance management.

  • Improve the planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data in a consistent form.

  • Facilitation of internal and external meetings.

  • Monitoring of relations between project areas and active improvement submissions.

  • Organizing project resource management.

  • Administration and control of vendor contracts.

  • Work closely to the digital infrastructure team and external license provider with managing Microsoft licensing

  • Grow project knowledge in the organization by training sessions and communication tools.

  • Could act as Project Manager.

Required skills & experience


  • 3+ years of relevant professional work experience.

  • Project Management and Project control experience is an advantage.

  • Time & Cost Management experience is an advantage.

  • Multinational corporate experience is an advantage.

  • Team lead experience is an advantage.

Education and training:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree
