Platform Project Manager - R&D

In the process of further strengthening the Haldex Project Management Team we are looking for an experienced Project Manager for the development and launch of a new product range to Haldex.

Responsibilities

The platform project manager position plays an essential role in driving and coordinating the global activities related to industrialization and promotion of this new product range internally and developing customer relations for market introduction.

The Platform Project Manager is responsible for managing the cross functional team executing the tasks defined in the Haldex Project Management Model. The responsibility of the Project Manager spans from Toll Gate 0 (Kick off) to Toll Gate 5 (launch completion). Furthermore, the Project Manager is responsible for managing the project to achieve the objectives defined for product and process development and launch by accuracy in scope and business case management. Communication skills are essential since the product market is global and the development is multi-site. Presentation skills are equally essential to promote the project and product both internally and to supply- and customer base.

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Management of project as of opened Gate 0 until project closure in Gate 5.

  • Project results according to scope in terms of time, cost, quality and technology.

  • Reporting project status to the project sponsor and steering council.

  • External project status reporting to customer

  • Quality assurance of product and process according to APQP

  • Documentation of project.

  • Coordination of project and product deliverables between platform and application projects.

  • Assisting sales with product material and drive/participate in customer dialogues and events

Required skills & experience

Experience:

+10 years of project management, preferably within the automotive business with Tier1/Tier2 supplier role experience. Platform and customer application coordination with OEM requirements on development process procedures and project management. Development of new products involving multi-site development and launch of high volume production at multiple sites. Sales or account management experience is preferable.
