Technician - Sales

Country: Belgium

Reporting to the Sales Manager OE Benelux, you are in charge of giving advice and technical support to our customers and our salesmen. You also manage technical and quality contact with Haldex production center. You realize and translate technical documents and care the warranty follow up.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Assistance and customer support both by telephone and face to face.

  • Technical expertises and technical relation with Haldex plants

  • Consulting and support in approval and regulation for customer and in-house

  • Implementation of braking files (diagrams, note of calculation, PV …)

  • Find identification, equivalence and alternative for products

  • Be a warranty expert: manage the warranties’ supervision and the possible related legal disputes (as customers)

  • Organize and animate Haldex Trainings for our customers and create training support

  • Translation and creation of technical and sales engineering documents

Required skills & experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in a technical support environment.

  • Customer technical service of an automotive or equipment manufacturer, or a distribution network.

Other Requirements

  • You have an acute sense of customer contact and you are able to listen to the customer’s requests in order to satisfy them as well as possible.

  • You are mobile (business travel) and you feel comfortable in public speaking (training, meeting…).

  • You are able to read technical drawings and technical documentations.

  • You practice Dutch, English and French; and if possible German.

  • You master the computer tool: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PAO software

    As this role involves working with a variety of people within the organization, the individual should be open-minded, solution-oriented team player with good communication skills.

Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in a technical support environment.

  • Customer technical service of an automotive or equipment manufacturer, or a distribution network.
